WHO WE ARE
The McAnsh Family originated in Billings Township on beautiful Manitoulin Island. Some of you may remember the McAnsh Saw Mill on Jerusalem Road owned by our Uncle Earl....or our Uncle Arthur who was a Council Member in Billings Township...or our Aunt Jennie who taught school to many Island residents........
It has always been our life-long dream to return to Manitoulin and open McAnsh Electric to serve the Island and the surrounding area with top notch residential, commercial, industrial and farm electrical services. We are conveniently located in Sandfield (Tehkummah) and are ready to provide our customers with Quality Work, Fair Prices and Prompt Reliable Service.

We had Doug McAnsh of McAnsh Electric in to replace our breaker panel, install a Generlink system and bring the wiring of our water pump system up to standard. The completed project was neatly done; impeccable work at a fair price. Doug is a very good trouble shooter, isolating a problem with our water pump and directing us toward the proper services to make changes. He is easy to work with, explains what he is doing, does what he says he’s going to do and adheres to the written estimate. He was very helpful teaching us about the Generlink system and the proper generator for that system. Doug is responsive when called to make inquiries. He has very good customer service skills and obviously is a skilled Master Electrician. We are grateful to Doug for making our home safer and his excellent work in doing so.
